CHEMICAL PEEL

The VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel that rejuvenates your skin by removing dry, dull, older skin cells to reveal a smoother, more radiant complexion. It effectively addresses fine lines, wrinkles, roughness, and uneven pigmentation, including sunspots and age spots, as well as hyperpigmentation like melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).

As we age, our skin cell turnover slows, causing older cells to accumulate on the surface. Regular VI Peels, applied every 4-12 weeks, exfoliate dead skin cells and debris, resulting in a brighter, more even-toned complexion with fewer pigmentation spots. Despite being a medium-depth peel, the VI Peel requires minimal downtime, making it a convenient option for maintaining a youthful glow.

Before
Treatment

  • SCHEDULING. Schedule your chemical peel at least 2-4 weeks before any special event, such as a wedding or vacation, to ensure optimal results and allow any potential peeling or redness to subside.

  • PREPARE YOUR SKIN. Chemical peels perform a deep cleanse that delivers immediate results. This can be an intense treatment, so it's important to prepare your skin well.

  • Do not exfoliate your skin for at least one week before your appointment. Be aware of ingredients in your daily skincare products that may have an exfoliating effect and avoid them prior to treatment.

  • MAKEUP & SKINCARE. Take a break from makeup for 3-5 days before your treatment to allow your skin to detoxify. Discontinue the use of products that are drying to your skin, as peels are most successful when the skin is well-hydrated.

  • SUN PROTECTION. Most chemical peels respond better to skin that isn’t sun-damaged, so try to avoid the sun as much as possible before your treatment. When outdoors, wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunblock with at least SPF 30.
