Neuromodulators (Botulinum Toxin A), such as Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, etc., are fantastic for preventing and treating wrinkles, especially when started early and maintained over time. These treatments work by temporarily relaxing the underlying muscles, leading to smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.
Results typically appear within 3-10 days, last for 2-6 months, depending on the area treated, amount of product used, and patient's individual anatomy and lifestyle. Regular treatments help maintain a consistently refreshed look.
Neuromodulators aren't just for the upper face—they can also enhance the lower face by slimming the jawline or subtly lifting the upper lip.

Before
Treatment
-
SCHEDULING. Schedule your neuromodulator treatment at least 2-4 weeks before any special event, such as a wedding or vacation, to ensure optimal results and allow any potential bruising or swelling to subside. This also provides time for any necessary refinements.
-
MEDICATION & SUPPLEMENTS. Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements such as vitamin E, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for seven days prior to your appointment to minimize the risk of bruising.
-
MEDICAL HISTORY & HEALTH STATUS. Inform us of any changes in your medical history, health status, or personal activities that might be relevant to your treatment. This includes any new medications or supplements you are taking. Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you do not feel well.
-
For new patients, the appointment typically lasts 45-60 minutes. Returning clients can expect the appointment to take about 15-30 minutes.
